About
The West Worcestershire Constituency Labour Party was re-founded in January 2013 and has since grown rapidly – we currently have nearly 1000 members, affiliates and registered supporters.
West Worcestershire is a large rural constituency spanning from Tenbury in the north west, through Malvern to the top of Tewkesbury and south east across Pershore into Bredon. For more constituency information and statistics see here.
Since 2013 we have fielded Labour candidates in the vast majority of County Council, District Council and Town Council elections to ensure the citizens of West Worcestershire are offered a Labour choice.
In the 2024 General Election, we recieved 15.2% of the vote with the opposion to the long standing Conservative being split across four parties.
We have fought several campaigns to improve services – and often to oppose cuts proposed by Tory-led Worcestershire County Council, Wychavon and Malvern Hills District Councils.
We also organise regular policy-oriented events and forums, and a range of social events for our members and supporters to meet informally.
The party is for every member and we welcome input, comments, thoughts and direction from everyone.
