We held our Annual General Meeting in Malvern on June 21st. We celebrated a successful year with improved results in the County Council elections in May, followed up with Labour’s best ever General Election performance in West Worcestershire. 

We elected a team of CLP Officers including several new faces, led by Samantha Charles who was our candidate in the General Election and is now CLP Chair. Noting that we now have a minority Conservative government and that another general election could be called at any time, we have established a Campaign Committee, led by Lucy Dunlop as Campaign Co-ordinator. The Campaign Committee will drive forward our campaigning building on the momentum we have established during the recent election camapigns. To see the full list of CLP Officers, click here.

We also paid tribute to Daniel Walton and John Gallagher who stood down as Chair and Secretary respectively after several years of very hard work re-establishing and building West Worcestershire Labour.
